City’s Mobile Office joins Human Settlements departments in Mitchells Plain and Wesbank next week

Next week the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be joining the City’s Human Settlements departments in Mitchells Plain and Wesbank. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of having direct access to the various department staff members who will be able to assist with various queries they may have.

The details are as follows:

• Wednesday, Tafelsig, 26 February 2025, 10:00 to 14:00, Tafelsig Hall, Kilimanjaro and Dolomite Roads, Tafelsig, Mitchells Plain

• Thursday, Wesbank, 27 February 2025 and Friday, 28 February 2025, 10:00 to 14:00, Wesbank Multi-Purpose Centre, 7 Silversands, Main Road, Wesbank

‘We are proud to say that the City’s call centre serves the Human Settlements Directorate in managing service requests and complaints at these community roadshows. So far, this partnership has been a great success in serving our residents better. Our residents appreciate the City’s mobile office offering greatly as it makes it easier for them to access key departments directly,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.

The various departments present will be able to assist with queries around the following matters:

• Title Deeds (New and Historical)
• Database and Application queries
• Service requests
• Tenancy Management issues
• Specific project issues (BNG/New Housing; Informal Settlements; CRUs)
• Affordable Housing Queries
• Informal Settlements
